Adding Office 365 to Your iPhone or iPad
Your Office 365 account is accessible via your iOS devices (iPhones and iPads). To set up your full Office 365 account on an iOS device, use these instructions:

Your Office 365 account is accessible via your iOS devices (iPhones and iPads). To set up your full Office 365 account on an iOS device, use these instructions:
1. Before you set up your mobile device, log on to the Office 365 Webmail interface (http://login.microsoftonline.com/) and follow the prompts to change your password from the temporary one sent to you by Windermere Solutions.
2. On your iOS device’s home screen, tap Settings.
3. Choose Mail, Contacts, Calendars and tap Add Account.
4. Tap Next. When prompted to choose an account type, select Microsoft Exchange.
5. Enter the following settings:
a. Email is your full email address (example: august.williams@windermeresolutions.com).
b. Password is the password you use to access the webmail.
c. Description is a unique name to distinguish the accounts from others on your device.
6. Tap Next.
7. The device will verify your settings and, if the information was successfully entered, it will take you to a selection of what content you want to sync (see below).
a. Note: If you already have contacts on your device that are the same as those in your email, you may be asked if you want to keep your current contacts (potentially creating duplicates). Tap Keep on My iPhone unless you are certain you do not have any contacts on your phone that will not be lost.
b. We recommend leaving on all four options so you have full control over your account on every device.
8. Tap Save when you are done.
9. You can now access your account by tapping the Email icon on your device’s home screen.
Advanced account settings can be changed using the following steps:
1. Go to Settings > Mail, Contacts, Calendars and tap on the Office 365 account.
2. Tap on Mail Days to Sync.
a. The value you choose here determines how far back emails will be pulled. This prevents your device from being bogged down with too much content.
3. Tap the name of the account (upper left hand corner) when you have selected a satisfactory option.
4. Tap on Mail Folders to Push.
a. Here you can select which folders automatically bring in messages. Most people use only the inbox unless a rule directs important messages to a sub-folder.
b. If you don’t choose any folders other than the inbox, you can manually check email in any folder from the Mail screen (from the Inbox, tap on the name of the account and peruse folders from there).
